Large investmentplan in Hillerstorp
Hillerstorps Trä AB has adopted an investment plan of 70 million SEK (some 8 million EUR), by far the largest investment plan in the company´s 80-year-history. All investments will be made at the plant in Hillerstorp and is scheduled to be completed later this year.
Demand for pinewood furniture for garden and conservatory have risen strongly for some time. Hillerstorps Trä AB, which has a leading position in the industry, responds to the increased demand by adopting the largest investment plan ever drawn up in the company. As much as 70 million SEK, nearly 8 million EUR, will be invested in new factory buildings, new machinery, and last but not least, a new exhibition hall.
- Demand for wood furniture has risen over time. Investments that will occur during the year are a result of our belief that wooden furniture is on a roll, said company president Vincent Andersson.
This season promises to be another record year for Hillerstorps Trä AB, with an expected turnover of SEK 400 million, nearly 45 million EUR, for 2012.
- Environmental responsibility, environmental sustainability, design and price efficiency are some key success factors for furniture in pinewood, according to Vincent Anderson. No other wood in the world meet these criteria while offering availability in large volumes in the right quality.

Hillerstorp is expanding.
For a time now, it has been obvious that our showroom cannot hold our current product range. Therefore we have started to rebuild the biggest showroom to make even bigger. In august/september 2012 2400 square meters of new showroom space will be opened. We cannot wait for the grand opening!

Preparations for this years big garden event, the SPOGA-fair in Cologne, has been going on for some time. 2 000 exhibitors and more than 40 000 visitors are expected this year.
Hillerstorp will introduce a number of new products and would like to invite you to our stand E20 in Hall 3.2.
